Bargaining and Strike Central for Kaiser 2025

Countdown to Contract Expiration

Strike Central!

Now that we are six months into bargaining and management is still unwilling to agree to common-sense proposals, we are preparing for a potential strike in October.

Check out the links below for everything you’ll need to get ready—and start by signing our strike pledge! Strike authorization votes will begin on September 15th and run for one week, so sign your pledge today and be ready to receive your authorization ballot by email.

Sign Your Strike Pledge
Fill out this form to commit to voting YES in our strike authorization vote and to join the overwhelming majority of your coworkers if a strike is called. For units that are not legally able to strike, please sign the pledge to show your commitment to supporting the strike in every way you can.

All six of our Kaiser Permanente bargaining units are currently negotiating their local contracts at each unit-specific bargaining table. National bargaining begins in May with representatives from OFNHP and all other Alliance of Healthcare Unions locals participating to ensure we win a fantastic national agreement. This page will be kept up to date so that you can see updates from all of our bargaining units and the national table, as well as any other resources you will need along the way. Remember that we are to be wearing red, union colors, on every Tuesday during the campaign.

Local Bargaining Updates

We can have a limited number of observers for our local table bargaining sessions. If you would like to attend any of these sessions, use this RSVP link to add your name at least twenty-four hours before that session begins.

Below are our updates for national bargaining, which take place alongside the 60,000 members of the Alliance of Healthcare Unions. We will post updates individually as our bargaining dates occur across the summer.
