August 21, 2018 - Tuesday kicked off our week of informational picketing and leafleting events across the Kaiser Permanente Northwest region with picket lines in Vancouver, WA and Salem, OR.
Kaiser Nurses Issue Warning: Short Staffing Could Diminish Patient Care
June 22, 2017 - Yesterday's rally to protest short staffing at Kaiser Permanente drew members and staff from OFNHP and two other Kaiser unions as well supporters from Portland Jobs With Justice. Nearly 1,000 KPNW employees have signed onto OFNHP's petition raising concerns about short staffing and calling on the company to hire additional staff to care for it's customers. The highly visible event outside KPNW headquarters displayed the 70-foot long, 2.5 foot high petition and was also an attempt to deliver the petition to senior Kaiser managers.
