Over the past several weeks, OFNHP members have joined tens of thousands of Kaiser Permanente employees across the country raising their voices about the future of healthcare. After months of negotiations, and destructive proposals from Kaiser leadership, each of our local bargaining units unanimously recommended a strike authorization. Our membership then voted by 96% to strike, sending a message to management that we will do what it takes to protect both our patients and the frontline healthcare workers that make our healthcare system work.

Your voice has been loud and clear: these issues matter to us and healthcare workers need a voice. Now that we are heading into a potential strike, we want to raise up the stories and perspectives of the thousands of Oregon RNs and health professionals who voted to strike.
