First Week of August is "Kaiser Week of Action!"

Kaiser Week of Action Starts August 4th
the first week of August, OFNHP members across our Kaiser facilities are taking bold, unified action to show our strength and solidarity as we head toward the critical August 7th Rally for Patient Care and Healthcare Justice. Each day this week highlights a different way to mobilize, connect with our coworkers, and raise our collective voice as we fight for a fair contract and the future of our profession. These actions are designed not only to build momentum for Thursday’s rally, but also to make clear—across every site and department—that we are united, organized, and ready to win. This week of action coincides with national bargaining for the Alliance of Healthcare Unions, which will be happening in Portland and will help ensure that members from the other Alliance locals can attend our rally.

Let’s Make This Week Count
Whether it’s walking in together, repping our union red in creative ways, engaging the public in leafleting efforts, or showing up in full force at Thursday’s rally, every action counts. The week will close out with a union-sponsored Red Cross Blood Drive, underscoring our shared commitment to care—even as we fight for the respect and resources we deserve. Below you’ll find details for each day’s activity and links to sign-ups and flyers. Join your coworkers, stand with your patients, and help us build the power we need to win strong contracts and protect our standards of care.
