OFNHP is thrilled to invite you to the LabCorp Worker's Rights Board hosted by our partners at Jobs with Justice. The Portland Workers’ Rights Board offers a public, community forum where LabCorp employees can bring complaints against their employer. The most egregious claims arise from violations of their human and legal rights in the workplace.
The Board will feature folks from a broad spectrum of political, faith, academic, legal, and community leaders that can intervene when employers like LabCorp violate workers' rights. We will hear from 4 different speakers about the history of LabCorp, learn about the inside of a lab, and discuss how LabCorp has been putting workers and patients at risk.
You can rally behind these workers and hear their story. Learn about the declining quality of lab services and how workers have organized a union with OFNHP to protect patients and maintain high standards. This is happening in our very own community.
We are counting on you to show up and pack the room. The event will be taking place on December 11th at 6pm in room 327/8 at Portland State University in the Smith Student Union building. We will have light refreshments and snacks.
