We are proud to announce that we have reached a complete Tentative Agreement (TA) with Kaiser Permanente on our new contracts for all six OFNHP bargaining units.
The final agreement closes out all the outstanding issues that had been stalled due to Kaiser’s refusal to engage in national bargaining. With those issues now resolved, we have complete tentative agreements that we can take to ratification.
In the coming days, we will begin sharing full details of the Tentative Agreement, summaries of the contract provisions, and information about the ratification process.
This agreement comes after one of the most challenging bargaining campaigns many of us can remember. For more than a year, members showed up again and again — at bargaining sessions, on the strike line, union meetings, informational pickets, and on the floor caring for patients while pushing for the improvements we deserve. That persistence and solidarity are what made this agreement possible.
We want to recognize the dedication of the bargaining team, stewards, staff, and OFNHP members who made this moment possible. Winning a Tentative Agreement after a campaign like this is the result of collective effort and solidarity. Thank you for standing together throughout this process. More information on details of agreements and next steps will be coming soon. Below you can read about the TAs we had for our local contracts, which we won back in December.
