Our Legacy Meridian Park Techs have voted by an overwhelming 96% to ratify our first union contract! This new contract includes:
- At Least a 4% Raise, based on the Median Wage converted into a dollar amount.
- $1,200 Ratification Bonus, prorated to the FTE.
- Evening Shift Differentials
- Dispute Resolution and Grievance System
- Preference for Union Employees on Assignment
- Seniority for Job Preferences

There is also an appendix that will be added to outline both our regular wages and our lead wages, and you can read those at the links below. Note that it is missing two job classes, Imaging Lead and MRI Lead, and those will be added shortly.
Our next step is to get Meridian Park integrated into the union and to build up their steward base so that you can defend the contract. Next month we will have our next "State of the Union" all-member meeting where you can find out everything we are working on and can have lunch with members from across our union. We will send you more details once the date for that meeting is set.
We also encourage all Meridian Park Techs to consider becoming a steward! Stewards are the heart of our union and will ensure management follows the contract, defend workers' facing discipline or termination, and push on the issues that matter most.
We will also update Meridian Park members if and when we go into negotiations over the effects of the OHSU acquisition, which could lead to additional wage increases. Thanks to everyone who worked on this campaign to make sure we had the strength we needed to win such a landmark first agreement!
