Tristan was born and raised in the pacific northwest from a union family who helped push him into union activism from my first days at KP. Tristan is an active member of the Steward Delegate Assembly and PEAC. His outside work time is usually spent gaming, baking, or attending a Timbers game.

Kristen has been a Physical Therapist at Kaiser since 2010, working at the Mt Talbert, Beaverton, then Tanasbourne locations. She has been serving as a steward since 2014, including Stakeholding in Rehab template and Precepting LOUs. She is currently on the Leadership Development Committee and Steward Delegates Assembly. She enjoys helping educate other stewards and members and fostering independence within workgroups. Outside of the union office, Kristen enjoys long distance running and spending time with her family and cat.

FOCUS: OUTPATIENT RNS

I’m Mary Katherine, most people know me as Katie. I have been a RN for 14 year and I currently work as an outpatient Oncology/Infusion Team lead in Longview-Kelso, WA. I have worked as inpatient Contract Specialist from 2021-2022. I was part of the RN Bargaining Team in 2021. I currently serve as Vice Chair of the RNs. I am originally from Maryland. I am married to an Army Combat veteran  and I have one son. I call myself a seasoned fisher-person, but I have only caught a handful of fish. I’m excited to serve in this role again.

FOCUS: INPATIENT RNS

Nick Eng has been with Kaiser for 7 years; 2 as a circulating RN, and 5 as a RN first assist in the operating room at Westside. Nick has been an active steward for 5 years with countless hours of representational work under his belt. He applies his ability to remain calm under pressure while in surgery to his steward work. This quality was especially helpful during the 2021 contract bargaining. As contract specialist he is looking forward to educating, organizing, and empowering members. When not working, Nick can be found in the gym, trying out new recipes in the kitchen, and roasting coffee.

Kellie Brewer has been a Surgical Technologist for over 18 years. Ten of those years are at Kaiser. She is a dedicated Steward with a strong focus on Labor Management Partnership. As an advocate for the Techs at Kaiser NW, she is passionate about safeguarding the Technical Collective Bargaining Agreement. Kellie is dedicated to advocating for the rights of colleagues and ensuring fair and just working conditions. She enjoys cooking, gardening, sewing, and getting together with friends and family.
