OFNHP Stands in Solidarity with Providence Nurses

ONA Members at Providence Portland Medical Center, Providence Seaside Hospital and Providence Home Health and Hospice:

The Nurses of OFNHP want to send a message of support to you as you stand together against Providence. Our members work at Kaiser Permanente, PeaceHealth, St. Charles, and Mid-Columbia Medical Center. Your fight for safe staffing and fair pay, and just working conditions is something that unites all of us and your success will improve patient care throughout the Pacific Northwest.

All of our “non-profit” employers hide behind their inflated bank balances while screaming poverty. Well, they can’t function without our willingness to come to work. When you stay united, they WILL hear you. And we have your backs.

We are instructing our members definitively that OFNHP is supporting your strikes and they are to honor your picket lines. We have told our members that your fight is our fight, encouraged them to show up at your picket lines, and offer any and all support that can be given.

As long as Providence refuses to hear you, we will be there linking our arms with yours to raise our voices together.

In Solidarity,

Kaiser RN Bargaining Unit elected Leadership

  • Joshua Holt, Chair (Kaiser Westside Medical Center)
  • Katie Johnson, Vice Chair (Kaiser Oncology Infusion)
  • Jamie Dobbs, Vice Chair (Kaiser Sunnyside Medical Center)
