What drives Misty to be active with OFNHP is the changing working environment for nurses—the increasing pace, long shifts, and physicality that present challenges to a sustainable career in the field. “Now more than ever, we need to be unified and vocal to protect our rights and our union contract. I truly believe that our actions today will shape the future of nursing. We’re standing up for the next generation of RNs who are coming in behind us.”
