On June 3rd, the Wound Ostomy Continence RNs voted to join OFNHP! This group of 7 RNs will be part of the RN Collective Bargaining Agreement and they will be paid based upon their years of RN experience on the RN Trainer wage scale. Many of them will also soon be eligible for the RN Career Ladder.
It took several months of bargaining to achieve this. They first signed cards in August 2013! Together they represent a mix of inpatient and outpatient WOCNs spread throughout the region.
A special thanks goes to the bargaining team members Lisa Empey (Outpatient) and Cherry Bisquera (Inpatient) for the countless hours they put into this endeavor.
