Labor Management Partnership and the Coalition of Kaiser Permanente Unions

Kaiser Permanente and the Coalition of Kaiser Permanente Unions created the Labor Management Partnership (LMP) in 1997 as a way to transform the relationship between the unions and the organization—in essence, returning to the cooperative spirit between the company and its union employees that existed at the company's founding.

The Labor Management Partnership is a strategy for high performance, engaging physicians, managers and frontline workers. Using the Value Compass, which puts the member at the center of every decision, LMP teams work to create the best workplace and to deliver the best quality care and the best service, at the most affordable price.

LMP Classes
Partnership classes include: Corrective Action, Effective Stakeholding, Facilitation Skills Workshop, Interest Based Problem Solving, UBT Co-Lead Workshop.

We recommend that our members, especially Stewards, take these Kaiser-run classes. Please note that they are NOT the same as OFNHP Steward trainings and other classes. You can find the schedule and descriptions of classes on the Kaiser MyHR intranet.
